ARGENTINA COMES TO BRUNSWICK

Dan’s Empanada Bar at Baketico Brunswick this weekend

This weekend, Dan Szwarc’s Empanada Bar will be bringing Argentina to the Baketico kiosk located at 75 Nicholson Street, Brunswick East. A selection of his original recipes and authentic flavours including roasted cauliflower & pine nuts, creamed corn & cheddar plus braised chicken & basil empanadas will be cooked to order and served with chimichurri from 10am until sold out. Taste why Dan’s Empanada Bar is seeing line ups start early and people following his Instagram to see where and when they can next get their hands on his traditional parcels of pure flavour!

Saturday and Sunday, pull up a chair on the Baketico outdoor decking and soak up the filtered sunlight whilst enjoying the flavours of Dan’s menu. Chef Szwarc is the first guest of the summer series hosted at the Baketico kiosk, a small space for one to take over, select their favourite mini menu, and swing open the doors to share with those lucky enough to get in early to snap up their snacks.

For those on the run, Dan will also have a range of take-home options including mixed Alfajores, Argentina’s national sweet treat, a soft biscuit filled with dulce de leche, and Alfajor Helado: Dulce de leche ice cream sandwich with a dark chocolate glaze. An excellent take away or gift option are the mixed Empanada boxes which are ready to be baked or fried at home so you can work your way through the whole range at your leisure. For those unable to leave the couch, this will all be available on the Baketico DoorDash!
